Can definitely help if you’re practicing in a Self-Defense approach. It all depends on the practitioner. Some practitioners choose more of a sport game to develop while others choose to develop a game that lends itself better to self-defense/street scenarios.

Best school for all types of kids. Shy kids, kids with lots of energy. Believe me. Mom of 8yr old boy and he came out of his shell. He was super shy. Now he has the confidence of a totally new kid. I love seeing this in him. And I also have a 5yr old girl. She is the firecracker of the family. She couldn’t wait to be 5yr old to join his big brother Ethan. She has so much energy when she finishes her practice and gets home she knocks out so quick after her bath. And let’a talk about all the coaches they are all dedicated and very professional with every student. My daughter has her favorite coach Johnny, his great with little kids like my daughter. If she’s having a hard day he always knows how to bring a smile on her face. I’m not just saying this. It’s one of the best school for Jiujitsu. Love all the coaches for their hard work and dedication to each student. Specially when the kids go into tournaments the coaches from the Academy are there to support each student. Love that!
