Hello attorney @zieglerdiamondlaw an in-network doctor sent pathology to an out-of network lab. I had a procedure done at my doctor’s private practice office. The doctor is in-network with my insurance. They then sent a specimen to an out-of-network pathology lab. The doctor never informed that his office would be sending the specimen to an out-of-network pathology lab. I never signed a consent form for this. I am now receiving a notification from my insurance that the insurance claim has been denied because the pathology lab was out-of-network. I have a bill over $400. Legally, do I have anything that can help me avoid having to pay for this? By the way, I live in Florida, US.

In PA. they are not allowed to garnish wages or social security or pensions

just before I moved to a new state, my then-doctor started a new practice. I went and saw him while everything was still sort of new, the building was still under construction, and there were new office workers. They filed my paperwork wrong, or neglected to send it to my insurance, and the day before the move I stopped by to discuss it with them. Once they realized their error, they made plans to re-submit to insurance, and that was that. Then 8 years later the debt collector calls me. I told them that my insurance had been billed, my portion paid, end of story. They were adamant that I owed, so I told them to send me a bill, including the date of service, the information about sending to insurance, etc, and I told them I would get proof of the fact that I had already paid.. They never called me back.

What if you’re 1099? Can they still garnish? I can easily send find to another person account. Legal?

So I am upside down in car loan due to a lemon that was given. My credit is good have made payments but i will surrender it. Done. No dealer will help. So i got myself in a new car today for less money. My credit will take a hit but i will be out of 20k negative equity. Any defeciancy balance that nay occur I wont pay. Turn it over to collections then after 7yrs they can leave me alone. Its awful how good people follow the rules and get screwed

I received a phone call that sounded like a scam, alleging I STILL owed a $10,000 'student loan' debt from 25 YEARS ago. I finished monthly payments and paid this high-interest student loan debt IN FULL about 7 years ago. It's one thing to attempt to avoid paying an actual debt but how DARE anyone allege that not only did I owe the full $10,000, but that I NEVER made a single payment at all on this student loan. This attorney-backed collection agency not only threatened me that a court case was pending but had the GALL to ask me to make payments AFTER I told him it was already PAID IN FULL! Your advice is extremely appreciated!

Banks will investigate any garnishment and if there is a protected source of income, they will not freeze 2x the amount of that protected source.

Can you sue the reporting agencies for allowing those accounts to stay on the reports after being notified that you never received that info?

Must be old cause banks are required by law to do 2 months look back on accounts to see if ss benefits were deposited. If so banks are obligated by federal law to protect twice the amount of those benefits this is automatic.

Hi there, I'm having a problem with a flight school in florida, they charged me $16,000 in 18 days, then later after 18 days got my signature on the pricing breakdown/estimate, and then few days later gave me a printout of the charges they had slapped me with without my authorization! So the charges predate my signature and the printout of the charges was after the day I signed (everything dated) ... loan is through Meritize... what can I do about this? I quit the school and left because they were a scam operation (also have proof)... Im on SS1. Have no assets. Have no savings. No drivers license. Sure a judge could rule that i owe a debt and it can be collected. But the debt collectors have no method to collect any money from me. Boom judgment proof.

I got into a bad loan when I was younger. Salesman definitely took advantage of me. But that was my fault. I ended up doing a voluntary repo after I found out paying $1100 a month for the car only $150 was actually going to the car and the rest going to interest. Never missed a payment either. I owed 11,000 after having the get the car back and fought it with credit repair programs. Still on my record but I don't owe.

Thank you, you cleared up some info, In 2016 I Got a letter that I owed this debit and ask for Proof, but Never heard from them and there has never been anything reported on my credit Reporting ever. 6 years later, in May 2023 I got a Certified letter stating my loan reached Maturity in Dec 2021, and they were going to foreclose in 35 days. I ask them to email proof of this Said Debit- Still haven't gotten that documentation or heard from them, I had a Title Searcher for liens on my property (non-listed from this Company only my current Mortgage company since 2006) I never had a loan with them. I had a BK (not with them) in 2010 that was discharged and charged off by the original creditor due to the property being upside down at the time. I Don't know who these people are.
