None of the paintings are handmade. They are sold more than twenty years in Europe even with lower price from Beijing produced by South China factories. Used to sell these paintings in flea markets so I know from first hand. The other artifacts in your video might be handmade but not sure to be honest. I will go in a few days to this market and check on my own since I live now in Beijing

Panjiayuan has changed a lot over the years... and yet in some ways not at all. Back in the day there were some actual antiques there. These days, not so much. Look on my channel if you want to see what it looked like 25 years ago. Warning though - Its quite a rough and choppy video .. maybe sometime when I get some free time I will clean it up a bit. And by the way, as for bargaining, (and this is coming from someone who has worked professionally with some of the vendors there for MANY MANY years, I can tell you that in terms of price you never get an amazing deal. What's amazing is their ability to make you feel like you got an amazing deal. Rule of thumb for non-wholesale buyers is the price they quoted you is probably 10x more than its worth. For some sellers anyways. ;)
