I had alot of krone equipment over the years. Ran into same issues your having about parts availability and cost of it and started to trade off. Still have a big square and Tedder here. Anyhow good luck!

That's poor to be stripping that bed out. How many acres/hectares has it mowed,it's only a couple years old isn't it. Our triple mowers cut up to 6500ha per year, our KV53100 BX triple groupers are going into their 5th season with 12,000ha on them, thats close to 30,000 acres. We havent done a module or replaced any discs yet.

Are you going to use any kind of hurricane strap to help hold the trusses down? Neighbor made his own after having a similar situation. Just strips of metal with 3 or 4 holes on either end for screws. Parts in general are becoming a real pain to get but sadly we all are in that fight because the equipment's got to keep rolling

Great video, farmers must have knowledge of every trade to keep things going on the farm. Welds look great on the chopper and nice job getting it repaired and ready to go. I see Vermont had major flooding again, hope you guys missed it. Keep up the great work and enjoy every one of your videos, my escape from this crazy world, even if only for a little while.

That was awesome . I think you're all pretty amazing Farmer's/mechanics and shed construction is their any thing you can't do. With all the krone machine's in you're area it's ridicules that the dont have parts readable available You were right to have a good old rant about krone Andreas they should listen to their customers You done an amazing job on the repair You're intern Simon will definitely learn a lot from all of you over the next three months It was a really enjoyable video to watch looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮

I understand your frustration about the parts of the Big M, but I farm in the Netherlands, which is next to Germany, and we have the same problems here at Krone... Our only luck is that our dealer has built up a stock of the common parts himself. But the importer and the factory make a mess of it. Good luck and nice weather with the third cut! greetings from the Netherlands

@@802Farmers Absolutely, Krone produces excellent machines. We don't have a Big M but a B1000 CV, which is our third Krone triple mower in the years. By the way, our entire hay line is from Krone, very satisfied with it. But the parts service was very recognizable when you made that point in the video

One of the things that make you're channel outstanding is the detail you go into explaining everything you're doing when you're doing repairs You were so lucky he caught it in time an stopped When their building those machines the don't put any taught into making it easy to do repairs or maintenance having to take out everything made it a massive job When I see camera shy man trying to avoid you're camera i have to laugh tell him we all know what he looks like no need too hide 😂😂 Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮

Once you rebuild one you should just rebuild it all. I have no idea what the cost of cost? Those bearings should be replaceable with dry ice on the bearings and heat on the gears? This should give you several thousands of space… Then when it reaches room temperature it will seal itself together… This information should be in any heat treated treatment books. Or in an older Machinist Reference book? Hope this helps?
