So because the city is lived in and utilized by civilians who have no care for giving influencers space to record videos, you think it’s dirty, crowded, and “not the vibe”.

Congratulations on recently getting married to you both! And apologies for such a horrific experience with your car rental place and their services. Unfortunately with the market that you both went to, that place has been closed down for years, since it got burnt down years ago. Your husband as you mentioned speaks Samoan so the fact that he didn’t even know that is quite shocking to me as most Samoans would know this already. There’s a strip of shops right up the road from that market and the fact that you felt uneasy at that moment is very dishearting to hear as you wouldn’t feel the at way being on the main strip of the town with people that can direct you to places left right and centre. I would suggest to be vocal and reach out. Yes maybe not everyone might smile to you at first but they would just be going about their day and so forth. I’m sure the locals would love to direct you guys in any way but again it would first start with in you and your own mindset to not think that it’s not a safe place and feel uneasy in that sense but a place of adventure and exploring as a newly wedded couple. All the best with your honeymoon!

Hi sorry to hear about your experience with the rental place I guess you came at a time when everything was all busy we do have our Tourism sector right in the heart of town where you can obtain all sorts of information from accommodations and rentals. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in Samoa

Basically in 2024, Samoa still sucks as a Tourist destination smh🤦♂ This information is good for tourists to know before going.
@JosephMetusela_6854 ай бұрын
Tourists would normally do their research before going, they would do that research to find the right resources to get help. Unfortunately her husband being Samoa would’ve been “enough” for our dear sister here to think that everything would be smooth sailing….. How is it that he didn’t know that the main market in town was burnt down and no longer open if they didn’t do this research form other blogs on KZfaq from researching or know this from just news in general of our Island Samoa? Hmmm

Lol that's a little mean, but I did think while watching the video that choosing to speak to the camera for extended amounts of time instead of relaxing and enjoying time together as newlyweds (fully present ans soaking up the moments) was an interesting decision...must be a Gen Z thing.
