As far as I can tell, hardly anyone in the Christian camp is serious about stopping clergy and church leaders from abusing children. People wish to talk and comment about this incessantly, and the solution is *very* simple. Parents concerned about the safety of their children need to STOP taking them to ANY church activities where you cannot monitor and see what's going on. Children should *never* be allowed to be alone with *anyone* in *any* church. Period. End of discussion. If you can't actually see where your children are and what they are doing at all times in church you are being irresponsible as a parent and you apparently don't care about your kids. All you need to do is take them to church, if you must, but they sit in the pew next to you. This problem of predator priests and preachers is well known by now, and their is NO excuse for people risking their kids around people and organizations who are known to have pedos in their midst. Enough said - take your children OUT and AWAY from these churches.

My husband just passed away on Father's Day, and he had several strokes, beginning in December, 2017. He was never physically affected by any of them, but they led to a diagnosis of vascular dementia. The stroke that more or less led to his demise occured in mid October last year. He did regain some mobility after couple of months of physical therapy, but I was never able to bring him back home. God blessed us by leading me to a private home that was, at a minimum, $1000 a month cheaper. And he had his own room! I was able to spend two to three hours a day with him, and I knew that his time on earth was going to end soon. Dementia is such a cruel disease, and because it ran in his family, I dealt with it with his mother, and his eldest sister, so I knew what to expect. I pray that not only this gentleman's wife be blessed with a full recovery, but that God will make His presence known to him every hour of every day through this journey. The caregiver needs a great deal of faith and strength too. I saw God's hand at work throughout my journey with my husband. I pray the same for this man too.

We are called to expose the unfruitful works of darkness. CBG is exposing the darkness to make it visible. Ephesians 5:11-13 This is spiritual warfare to silence him. Why would you go to Gateway? The pastors and elders covered up the pastor doing dispicable deeds to a child. The pastor was not arrested or fired. He was allowed to resign. Run from this darkness. It is no surprise that BCG is being attacked for this. Eph 6:12 says we wrestle not against flesh and blood. He is being attacked by rulers, authorities,evil powers of darkness, spiritual forces in the heavenly places. Let us pray for him and his family a wall of protection. Let CBG see in the spirit those forces coming against him. Strengthen him, guide him and bring alongside him people of faith to encourage and support him to be bold and speak truth. Amen

Sexual abuse is in a category all its own. Let’s get this right sexual abuse of a child is never a relationship. It is rape. Relationship gives the connotation of two people participating together. Child sexual abuse involves grooming a child, psychological seduction and in this case spiritual seduction. Sexual abuse is called soul murder. People do not realize the immense impact SA has on the soul of a child and it can impact a child for a life time for some. The seed for homosexuality is sexual abuse. Paul told the church at Corinth to expel the man who had incest with his mother in law. A murderer who committed a murder 40 years ago and recently found out will go to jail. Time passing does not diminish the crime. A murder can be forgiven but will still go to jail. In all the years RM was at gateway he never repented. He never fully confessed to what he had done. He only told half of the fact and never said Cindy was 12. Can you imagine a man raping a child and he represents God what impact trauma that can have on a child spiritually?

What will happen to Robert now? After justice is served, how will God turn this around for good? He promises to do that when we repent and surrender to Him completely. I agree what he did was wrong but we need to forgive him and pray for his restoration. He deserves that.
