Grew up in a small midwest town. One of our parks actually had 4 - 6 buffalo. At that time gave us an historic view of buffalo roaming the plains. Incredible to see as a child.

I was there they seem not many but some seem to like that area. There was way more up by the valley crossing at 6 am it was incredible.
