Wait… so, your riding along, the power fails. So, you remove the 6 screws that hold together the controller encasement, find the red and blue wires, touch them together, screw the encasement back together and take off. And when it happens again 200 feet later…. You repeat that???

Salt BMX handle bars with Promax Stem, i use left hand thumb throttle

lol pull those square plastic trim pieces in your door wells / rocker panel area and you can just tuck all those hideous wires under the carpet. Was looking for a video on how to remove/ reinstall the headliner on my Crown Vic but I watched it anyway..

You will also not have to use so many spacers. It will fit just perfect.

I did the same upgrade a few days ago. Exactly the same fork as yours. You can fit it perfectly if you adjust the lower crown. It has 2 screws and you can mount it a little lower. If you do this, you will have enough space to put the upper crown.

You gotta go thru that fire wall, it’s super easy there is a runner grommet with wire on the passenger side sidewalk that you can use(just drill a hole the size of your wire in the grommet)

Great project! I have the same bike. It's a great platform for upgrades. Did the 52V battery work with the original controller? The label says 48V. I've heard some people use 52V batteries on 48V systems but I'm afraid of burning something. Thank you!

It will work but be aware of how hot your wires get on the stock controller, my phase wires melted a tiny bit not being careful on the stock controller running 52v
