"Price $43K" is 2 wheel drive base vehicle. 4 wheel drive version, starting about $50K . Hybrid starting about $58K.

The only complaint for me is price and any dealer markup stupidity. Toyota has updated everything in the 4Runner and done a marvellous job. Would suck to have a previous generation dinosaur.

Unfortunately Toyota is promoting tech and glitz over function and reliability. I will stick with my 2022 4Runner for the foreseeable future as this looks like just another tacoma/tundra debacle

A four cylinder twin turbo is a no for me. Hybrid is also a great big fat no. Toyota will no longer be a top of the line reliable SUV. It'll simply be just another of the many out there today. Changing the ergonomics just doesn't continue the supiority it once had. Top Grar BBC show once did a bit about the 1984 Toyota pickup and how indestructible it was. The 4Runner followed suit. Until 2025 that is. Now It'll just a run of the mill SUV. I'm done with Toyota. I've owned mine four thirteen years and will continue to drive until it falls apart.
