24:35 It's possible the script writer simply didn't know the difference between being separated and being divorced. Not only possible, but plausible. I remember when I didn't know there was a difference. Even so, Cindy is still a succubus.

Definitely a bad movie that rules. It was lacking in character development - like, who *are* these people? - but the character interactions were authentic enough that they felt real, cheesy though they were. Not only would I watch this again, I would own a physical copy of it. Also, Cindy Wickes is a bigger succubus than Darcy Sears. If this were R-rated, there would have been a lot more boobs (seen intentionally this time), and most of them would be hers.

If you stall a truck at that speed the engine will cut out but the weight and momentum will keep the truck going, you'd lose power steering and air brakes so whether it would flip is a guess. Stallone would be a stain on the asphalt though

Bad acting. Bad story. Basically the most accurate representation of that game that could have ever been made lol

Reminds me of the scene in The Bourne Identity where Matt Damon and a dead assassin fall down a stair well, but Matt Damon survives the fall because the assassin's dead body cushioned the landing.

What an absolute babe. I mostly know her from MacGyver, but her character on that is the cute-but-cacophonic type. I knew she was considered a smoke show, but I had no idea.

I think that's the problem with films that get so much build-up; everybody tells you this is the best thing since sliced bread, but when you (the royal "you") see it, you're left wondering what these people praise it. That's happened to me many times; Napoleon Dynamite, Boondock Saints, amongst many films.
@Emper0rH0rde5 күн бұрын
Napoleon Dynamite seems like the kind of guy who has never taken a single breath through his nose, and has no concept of personal space.

Huh. So, I take it you haven't seen Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1974), or Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1975), James? Those films star Kristofferson. There is also the 70's remake of A Star Is Born, The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea, and Convoy, which is on the BMR list.
@VernSherris5 күн бұрын
Oh, snap! I forgot to mention Lone Star (1996)! Great film, written & directed by John Sayles. Kristofferson played a corrupt cop.

One of the things I like about podcasts like Bad Movies Rule! is the fact that I learn about movies that I never knew about. I've never heard of Vigilante Force before, so this is going to be pretty cool.

Only thing that makes no sense is why in hell would a *Mexican* drug cartel be *leaving* the United States, the country that has, for decades, been the *foundation* of their billion dollar business? And if they were leaving, then why doesn't the sheriff just roll out the red carpet, create a parade route for them, and have the townspeople sing "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" while the foreign invaders leave the country voluntarily? ....yes, I admit, I haven't seen the movie...
