I like these talks with Coach, staff, and the athletes to learn more about things like Clint and the use of his new role.

Whoever thought that kansas and kansas state would have better programs than Oklahoma and Nebraska. Chris Klieman and Lance Leipold are among the very best. These programs are also built differently. I miss the days when you built a program from the ground up. You will never see another team like the 1986 Penn State national champions that were loaded with 5th year senior linebackers. People throw the word culture around so loosely. No body knows what culture means. Kansas and Kansas State are the closest you get to culture these days.

My guess is that they were contrasting locker rooms and team cultures between Colorado and K-State. Dylan Edwards can speak to that.

I absolutely love Carty and that was one of the greatest moments in KSU sports history. We needed one more productive guy in the rotation because starters were all averaging like 36+ minutes and eventually getting injuries from fatigue, but those were such fun years. This was a nice snip, looking forward to the full interview.
