Quite helpful. I had been spending time reading the latter part of the first book of Chronicles and I was about to move on to continue with the Solomon saga in the second book. I could not move on because somehow, my summary on the musicians as described in chapters 15, 16 and 26 did not look complete. I had Asaph somehow clear, but Heman was getting lost among the total of 288 musicians [chapter 25] and missing the importance of Heman [a Kohathite?]. I found his Psalm 88 and searched for "A Maskil of Heman the Ezrahite." What a pleasant surprise your presentation. Thank You. [I guess I'll find Heman again during the dedication of Solomon's Temple]

Hi there. I'm so glad that this story could come as a sort of surprise along your journey through Chronicles. Thank you for sharing that, and thank you so much for listening. Heman is such a beautiful person in the story, and one of those under-appreciated characters.

@AtTheHouse2 ай бұрын
We are thrilled that this video could bring some clarity about this passage. Especially since, as you described, its common misinterpretations should indeed send off all sorts of alarm bells in people's heads (but often doesn't). Thank you so much for listening, and for taking the time to comment.

Thank you for explaining something very important, it's tempting to sometimes think you just can't get being a good Christian right when you are not always doing well, and then to want to walk away because you just can't get it "right". Also the art work is beautifull🌼
@AtTheHouse3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Yes, that temptation is very strong, isn't it. It's so sad that many factions of Christianity enforce this narrative too. Thank you for listening, and we're so glad you enjoyed the art work.

Hi everyone. We'd like to make a post-release apology about some of the visuals used in this story. You will find the use of the Star of David in conjunction with the Israeli state's national flag's colours here. This was an oversight on our part, and we have since become much more informed about the nature of the illegal, apartheid, settler-colonial state which is today's "Israel". We have gained more understanding since the rise of #FreePalestine, learning about the Palestinian genocide and oppression at the hands of the Israeli state. We apologise, therefore, for the use of the Star of David and the white and blue colours to symbolise "Jewish" in this presentation, since the Israeli state does not equal "Jews", nor is Zionism the same as Judaism. We at The House unequivocally stand with the Palestinian people, their right to land back and full self-determination. We strongly condemn the oppression and genocide they are being made to suffer at the hands of the Israeli state - an injustice which has lasted for over 75 years. We are so grateful for the voices and efforts of people who are slowly bringing the truth about Palestine to the West. We are listening, we hope to keep learning. Please, therefore, do not see this story's visuals as anything but an ill-informed mistake in design choice. If you'd like to becoming more informed about the harms of Zionism, and the truth of what's been happening to the Palestinians, please download TikTok, and search for videos under the hashtag #freepalestine You can also find Natalie Kendel's account on TikTok here: www.tiktok.com/@natalie.kendel?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc

I love this so much. Are you leading any studies in this subject matter? I'd love to talk about other references to serpents in the Bible. Most "church" people I know aren't really interested in studying these topics, but I feel a great pull to delve into these things to see what Yaweh wants to show us. The Bible Project had just done an exhaustive series on the Chaos Dragon that's definitely worth investigating.
