What a beautiful pen! Just curious, is your cat named after Pierce Brown’s fictional character, Cassius? I finished his novel Light Bringer this month and can’t wait for the series finale!

Afraid not. He was named after Cassius Clay. And his late brother was Django from Django unchained. Tango and Cash- Django and Cash 😂 we thought we were clever lol!

I have this pen in the Emerald Celluloid with a button filler. It's an amazing pen and good size. Posts deeper than you would think. I kind of wish they would of made this version of it a piston filler, but converters are awesome too! Enjoy it! Looks very beautiful. This acrylic looks A LOT like old celluloid!

Great video. I have a dilemma 😢. Only can afford 2 pen. One now the other early next year. My choice is Delta Spaccanapoli, Leonardo Momento Zero and Esterbrook Estie. Since you got all three what is your 2 picks out of 3. Thanks 🙏.

Good question! I'd pick the Leonardo and then the Estie. Tough to choose but I think I like the estie nib better than the Spaccanapoli.

When I get it later this week, it will be the only Raven in my country! Cost me a pretty penny though! Hahaha 🤣🤣. Then I'll get the Leonardo Momento Zero Irite green blue in M later next year. Thanks for the suggestion.

Love the video. I got a Twsbi stub and am surprised by how bold it writes. Maybe like a 2.0?! Question: your Twsbi broad, does it write like a medium? I’m not sure I get what broad means in terms of writing (rather than just nib width). Thank you!

A stub nib is going to be the largest line width on a TWSBI that you can get. I would say a Broad on a TWSBI is slightly thinner of a line. In the line width comparison photo on the TWSBI Eco @Gouletpens.com it actually looks like the broad line is THICKER than the 1.1 stub line. I don't have any stub nibs so I can't compare them for you.

What a fun variety! I like the baobab’s blend of colors. Can you elaborate on what is drawing you lately towards Italian pens? I ask out of lack of knowledge on my part. I just have one Leonardo and not enough experience to have an informed opinion on other Italian brands. Thanks!

Hi Gail! I just it's subjective right? I seem to really love the size of the pens that I have ordered, Italian pens seem to have some of the largest pens on the current market. The resins and materials are pretty but not really that unique, but the nibs have all been fantastic. I have zero complaints. I just got a Nettuno N-E 2.0 today which a brand put out by the Maiora company and it is SO BEAUTIFUL. I have just had really good luck I guess. And that's even considering the issue I had when I first got my Leonardo Momento Zero- I had to send it back to get the piston mechanism fixed but now it works perfectly. Also I feel like they are quite approachable, cost-wise.... Maybe I'll do a video on this soon. Thank you for asking!

I'm so sorry for your loss. A loss of an animal shatters a heart. Prayers for you and your family 🙏❤🙏 We lost the last of our brother & sister cat pair a couple years back. We had Jinny for 19 years and Forrest for 17 years. Our nieces and nephews were littles when we adopted them and they all grew up together. Our babies were our family for a long time. Our family was devastated. When Jinny passed in my arms, my husband and I were gutted. It was so awful having a quiet house for those weeks after we lost Jinny, we couldn't take it anymore and decided to adopt again the week after she left us. Yes, I waited a couple of weeks, it was just too quiet... I didn't sleep at all that first week... I am happy to report that now it's two years later with Morticia and Gomez (2 beautiful, SPOIL with a T, black cats) and it's the best decision we've ever made. I will never forget my Forrest and Jinny, I have a place for them on my mantle along with their pictures, and I see and think about them everyday. Opening our home and hearts to Morticia and Gomez helped heal our shattered hearts. If you decide to have another cat in your home, I suggest adopting a bonded pair🐈⬛❤🐈⬛ ❤ I love my babies and I'm so happy I didn't wait to long to give other furbaby adoptees a loving home. I wish you comfort and peace, love your videos

thank you so much Tina- We have Django's brother from the same litter - he's such a good boy and trust me when I saw he is living his best life here, getting very spoiled. I have toyed with the idea of getting another cat to keep him company but at 11 years old I just don't want to stress him out too much. But if a second cat presents itself, I would consider it.

I think the single “c” makes a “ch” sound as in cello and the double cc makes a hard c count… like in macchiato. 🤔
