He WAS the sexy one, come on! And I think he had his coolest look in that "Just What I Needed" Video on the "Midnight Special" Channel. And I saw a live performance where I think someone threw a beer at them and he steps back from the microphone and silently says "I'm gonna get you" and then continues so sing. 😄That was the coolest thing I ever saw a singer do on a stage. I wonder if he got him after the concert. 😉

@johntower2005 Disappointing to learn that. And his grave site is also sad, buried next to his BIL and sister. Cemetery isn't kept up.
@AnElusiveButterflyАй бұрын
@johntower2005 This is not correct. David Robinson, the drummer for the Cars and Greg Hawkes, the keyboardist attended his funeral. In the biography of his life, the writer interviewed hundreds of people. He said he eventually had to stop interviewing people to write the book, and that he believed had he not stopped interviews he'd still be talking to more friends to this day. He said he couldnt believe a person could know so many people, and have so many friends in one lifetime. Benjamin was very loved in his life by everyone around him.

What an interview, can imagine it was very tough but also cathartic for everyone. Ex husband~kid’s father was a bass player, died of the same disease around same age as Ben. It’s a b^ t c h kind of cancer to go through. R.I.P. Benjamin Orzechowski & BEH.

I hadn't seen this before, really sad and confronting to see Ben like that when my memory of The Cars is always that dynamic, original, young rock band that was such a huge part of the soundtrack to my adolescence in Melbourne, Australia. Their music just doesn't get old, still gets a regular spin at my place, I suspect it always will.
