Redding is still learning the tricks, I wouldn't go too hard on him. If the sun had stayed out I reckon it would have paid off for him.

Not to come off like a fanboy, but at least he's been there, fighting for the Moto2 championship and he has a couple podiums on a MotoGP bike (which isn't a small feat since none of his bikes were ever truly competitive).

BSB is a lot slower than MotoGP, you're not going to find a camera drone that can do 360kph down the long straights at Qatar or Sepang.

@@iamtherealzombie Most helicopter footage is zoomed in from high above. You don't need to be matching the motorbikes' speeds to get an effective overhead or distant telephoto side view of the racers. Much much cheaper than a chopper and you can deploy more than one.

The depth of talent in the British series is so good. Quality riders all down the field... from Brookes to way down. Hickman - a TT winner - off the podium, ex MotoGP guys being smashed, etc. Just great racing. Pity the cameras just show the top 2 following each other rather than more of the real racing behind them.

scoot Redding, waste guy for MOTOGP , waste guy for BSB.... If he cant do good in BSB, what good he would have done in MOTOGP, good that he was kicked out by aprilia......

I don't agree with you. His results in bsb speak for themselves. I do think he was out of his depth in wsbk though. Even with a good ride I think he would struggle. Cheers

Iain Milne great reply , I think you mean motogp though? I rate him highly but it’s difficult to get a top quality ride in MotoGP especially for a non Spanish rider. Look at the situation with Crutchlow , Miller and Smith , all incredibly talented as is Redding but without a top factory ride or established team it’s incredibly difficult.

@@panzervalkyrie9299 yeah I did mean MotoGP I was watching WSB at the time. Batista is a great example. Also ran in MotoGP winner in WSBK. It just shows the gaps when stepping up or down

Its odd to me he doesn't know the tracks, surely he should have had to learn them before going to world championship, but thats the arse about faced way motogp is. And why i reckon hicky is the best rider in bsb, because of his incredible results in road racing, which dwarf all short circuit racing. Sports car racing isn grand prix car racing, some dominated one but can't compete in the other. Sbk isn't motogp.
