At 4:28 that used to be a bank. I remember being amazed as a kid that they'd build a bank with glass walls. It was pretty cool.

Great video! How to reach Tombstone from Tucson without a car? Would love to visit Tombstone. Love the history of the Wild West. Im based in Europe so I will not drive. Is there a bus that can take you from Tucson to Tombstone? I understand that there is a Airport Shuttle of Phoenix that can pick you up and drop you off anywhere you want. They have a website and you can make a reservation. How reliable is this? I think it costs around $300 bucks Tucson-Tombstone round trip per one person. I know there are a lot of Tombstone tours from Tucson and Phoenix, but I want to stay a few days to explore Tombstone on my own. Thanks for your help!

Allen St is always closed off. It’s actually paved, but we put down decomposed granite to bring back the feeling of dirt. Fortunately, it does not turn to mud when it rains. Thank you for visiting.

Thank you Rich for your comment. I was aware that Allen St was paved because I visited the area in 1991, I don’t recall that it was closed or not but it was definitely paved. I really enjoyed my two visits there and plan to go back.

Great views from castle. Can see Salisbury Cathedral. Rest of views is over countryside. Some towards Salisbury Plains. There is alot of walking. Limited for wheelchairs and baby buggies. The shop is good for items and ice-creams. 🍦There is certain times of the year special events for children to do. Generally during school holidays. Nice place to visit. Local bus number 8 and 5x stop outside. There is a chain pub diagonal across the road which is reasonable.

1:43 used to be a Target. It had moved from across the street. 2:05 used to be a Best Buy. 2:54 used to be Bakers Square. The chain is still around but in significantly less numbers. Mostly a Midwest chain from what I remember but similar to a Perkins or Village Inn. 3:10. Was that the old Pizza Hut? 4:28 used to be an Ingalls health center 6:12 used to be a very busy plaza with Toys R Us, a jewelry store, Chuck E Cheese, Factory Card Outlet, Famous Footwear, Christian book store, Pets Smart, Subway, video game store, Office Max, Old Country Buffet and many small stores.

I lived there for yrs & omg i went back last yr 🤦 still a fn sht hole. Not a thing has changed. DEAD END TOWN !!! Soooo glad i got tf outta there. Nothn but failed businesses & dilapidated buildings. Sorry but 1 or 2 nice restaurants dont change things. And the drugs. Dont get me started. Ask anyone about Gaines Apartments they'll know. Another sht hole next to being homeless. Disgusting. The few that do enjoy living there have $$ & are lucky enough to stay away from the real reality of Mattoon. My ex husband Tim shot himself on sidewalk of East Rudy yrs ago. Its a miserable town. No hope no dreams
