I can understand why robin did not tell patrick at first about being pregnant. Patrick did not want children at first and his constant adolescent behavior with the nurses was nauseating. I also did not like the fact that after patrick found out she was pregnant he kept following her around and was constantly stalking her.

I was a teen and young adults during the AIDS years, that is wonderful the process medical research has made, but sadly people will always be ignorant.

Before they got romantically involved, Spin and Maxie had cute scenes back in the day, although her ditzy ways got tiring after awhile. Years later, after they had sex, Maxie tried to tell Spinelli that she miscarried the fetus in which she was a surrogate for Dante and Lulu, he dozed off too, from a hangover. He thought Ellie betrayed him.

Blindly going after what you want and not apologizing is bad. Because if you just go after what you want, consequences be damned, you will burn a lot of bridges along the way and you will be a slave to your own desires. Which in turn will bring about misery that you probably didn't need to have. The corrective measure? Think carefully about what it is you want. Is it worth pursuing? What will it cost? If the desire amounts to self consuming, as well as destruction of things around, that's bad. If it amounts to a tree blossoming, as well as a garden spreading and sustaining the environment, that's good.
