Does Hopkins Prairie require reservations?

Hi there, I am recently just installed these onto my 2013 Tacoma, and I don't get my DRL's or turnsignals. Everything else seems to run properly. I am have some contact with Alpharex, but nothing has been resolved yet. Do you have any advice? Feeling bummed they are not working properly.

You can use a Bluetooth ear bud for your cell phone and mute it to prevent that echo interference from the infinite audio loop. Unmute to talk on the cell phone only when you think the radios are out of range.

Great video. My wife has a paddleboard and I have no balance, so I'm thinking of picking this up. extra room for a cooler would come in handy at the lake. Have you tried it alone? Fine by yourself? Also, I'm not the smallest person, do you feel cramped width wise?

For some reason my blinkers don't work at all. High beam and low beam work fine. The rear stock blinkers work fine. I have emailed AlphaRex.

I would have kept the CB. Can't have too many options.

I had the 1000x and yeti link and I would get 650ish watts while driving. Now upgraded to 1500x and yeti link only gives out 350-450 watts. Any ideas?

Yall are awesome ! I really have enjoyed the ride so far. I've been a Gnat snack a few times myself! The itch stinging last for hours ! FYI I'm gonna give the mud hole a go you got stuck in !! We are headed to Gulches at the end of the month for our first off roading adventure vacation. If I would have found the F.A.T. I'd plan to check it out rather than the Gulches. It's much closer to us and exactly what I want to do. Thanks for the ride !

What's cool is that your Tacoma already has faux vents next to its headlights. Now, they can actually be functional to keep your resistors cool.

I sure hope that I have that already when I bought the Headlights , it comes with 1 DRL Converter , and you buy a pair of Converter Harness kit . I'm guessing maybe of those 3 black boxes , 1 is a resistor >?

I recently moved to Central Florida and have been watching your channel for awhile now. I bought a truck last weekend for a multitude of things and one of those things are overlanding and camping. My wife and I would love to go on one of these trips together with a big group since we don’t know any trails in FL

You could have put the radio under the seat as well

Rugged Radios makes a Tacoma mounting bracket that uses the passenger seat bracket bolt and radio installs against console with no holes drilled. Also works on 4Runners They don’t recommend running power wire and antenna cable together, apparently due to possible static.

I have GMRS, CB, and HAM radios in my FJ.

I have the same hyper flash issues. I contacted the seller who pointed me to alphare. I contacted alpharex but having difficulties obtaining support/ just spinning my wheels. Can you advise who to contact to obtain the resistor to fix my hyperflash issues?

Great video, thanks for sharing! I am installing the safari on my Tacoma this weekend so this was good preview. Having done one on my 4 runner 8 months ago it looked very similar. I did the same as you with everything on that install to prevent corrosion on bare metal etc. and think on the Tacoma install I may remove the pump and washer tank to give some more room to work. Not that what you did was wrong. I did notice some skinned knuckles 😅, I am sure “there will be blood” on my install as well…goes with the territory. Thanks again, I will subscribe, watch and learn. Watched your video last week, ordered the lights and installed them tonight. Great video - thanks. Only issue I cannot figure out is my parking lights do not work. When I turn the headlights on, the DRLs stay one. If I turn lights off, I get DRL. If I turn on the parking lights, I still get DRL. Turn signal and hazards work perfect though.
