Why are there so few people in the audience?

Because this concert took place in 2020 so restrictions were in place at that time.

Non ci sono parole per esprimere il livello di questa interpretazione del M° Pletnev del direttore e di tutta l'orchestra. Grazie

GENIUS Mikhail Pletnev makes it sound like he is performing for Beethoven, himself. Excellence reigns!

Heard Respighi's "Pines of Rome", but never the "Fountains of Rome". Thanks for letting me discover this composition. Thurman Brasher

Lovely. And it seems as if Shigeru Kawai is a challanger to Steinway. But still I choose Yunchan Lim in this.

Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Vladimir Ashkenazy More colorful beautiful piano sound than Yunchan Lim and Pletnev! Dimitri Bashkirov her teacher Anastasia Virsaladze teach saying to Bashkirov the most important lesson is the love of beautiful colorful piano sound! This was already in 1930s! Really Shocking!
