if some A are B, surely all B could be A because we don't know anything about how B relates to A? we only know how A relates to B

@24:47 Between pencils and pillows, why do you only say 'Some pencils are not pillows'? How about other statements such as 'Some pillows are not pencils', 'All pillows are not pencils', 'All pencils are not pillows', 'No pencils are pillows', 'No pillows are pencils'? Do these agree with the original statements?
@Dandelion_flightАй бұрын
Medify arguments actually use outside knowledge which makes it wonder if that should be the case.

I wouldn't say it is a waste of time using the scratchboard especially when a student under time constraint cannot visualize well enough. A quick but accurate visual can help to solve the questions and may end up saving time trying to visualize in the mind.

Why is the answer for the 65% electric cars not false?
@hazemaster0077 күн бұрын
there is no evidence that contradicts with the statement, we know nothing about cars in general based on the passage, so it is cant tell.

Hi, would you ever say ''unfortunately'' when about to explain that someone passed away? Are you expected to make up those complications if not specified in the prompt? Let's say you have to tell a relative that the patient died due to complications. Are you expected to make these up or invent them or should you just remain vague even though being vague is very bad in such scenario?
@KamisatoElias6 ай бұрын
Remain vague, and yes it’s acceptable to say “unfortunately” since that is quite empathetic. The patient (actor) might intentionally persist asking for information in the hopes the candidate might slip up and spread misinformation despite not having done any tests etc

I’ve never understood how the NHS can say the standard of NHS work should be equivalent to private but it won’t look as good. Teeth are anatomically shaped and form follows function. So if the appearance isn’t likely ideal on NHS work, then NHS work won’t work as well. Cheaper, cost effective materials do not perform as well as more expensive ones. The NHS cannot simply bend the laws of economics by assuming cheap is as good as expensive.
@baghabit7696Ай бұрын
Not to mention, many restorations are technique sensitive, so if they’re being rushed as per NHS, they won’t last long

the genetic cross diagram at 0:50 is kinda wrong. the diagram shows only 2 different combos of gametes because it repeats each combo, and it should actually have 4 different combos. in this case tho the results are the same so theres no actual issue. but if the parents weren't homozygous (if they were heterozygous) the cross in the diagram would miss 2 offspring genotypes
