Nobody ever said it is a show for kids. Besides its good for kids to see a bit of brutality and rude behaviour....at least they learn the difference between good and evil and where does being evil leads to. Todays kids get nothing from watching new disney shows, where nobody ever dies, evil allways turns good and is forgiven, and with the power of friendship everything is possible. Writers these days are pussies and not only those who write shows for kids......even many adult shows and movies are like this.

Also there are literally scenes of clones falling into lava, being sucked into outer space, crushed by grievous and infected with brain parasites to name a few of the more violent ones. Not to mention Umbara where they get slaughtered and desintegrated by the hundreds or geonosis where they're abducted by the insects to be used for god knows what.

I mean I teaching my kids right off the back that the world is cruel . Keeping their entertainment and childhood in tact . Kids need to know the truth about the world at a young age that reality and life is cruel and there are many ways to over come those challenges . If you keep kids away from shows with violence in it and only have the brainless entertainment aspects to it that tell your kids about good manners and how life is all peaches and cherries then your child will grow up into a world of lies and deception and be totally lost or lose their way to evolution . Its why its good children learn about death and whats to come at a young age to avoid growing up into a overly senstive human that cannot handle the hardships the world cast at them .

Honestly I think this is part of the reason why this show was so successful. The clone wars had no problem telling it's stories for children but in a way more reminiscent of old fairy tales and not modern ones. Kids are much more resilient to scenes in fiction like these than we give them credit for. So long as it fits the theme, the moral of the story and the good guys win in the end moments of darkness or brutality are okay. They can handle it and even grow due to it. People enjoy the triumph of good over evil more if the evil is allowed to be truly evil. The story is better when characters like Anakin aren't all fun and goodness and instead have a darker side. One we can understand but also root for him to not fall to (despite knowing exactly it will happen). What would this show be if the villains couldn't kill on screen (and yes in a brutal manner at times) and show their evil, or if Anakin wasn't allowed to have his darker side show from time to time?

yes it is, at least for teens, but not for adults because adults deserve better animation. Deaths here are so boring (in the entire universe, 2 types of weapons kill) and especially zero blood, like zero blood even when falling, no fractures, etc.
