This is really great stuff. A very objective historical account giving what is the most reasonable interpretation of the events, as best we can determine base of the limited evidence that we have. It reminds me a lot of James Tabor, although I don't think Tabor is what you can call a Christian, whereas the fellow is a minister of Community of Christ. They used to be called RLDS, which I have always been familiar with having lived my whole life in the Kansas City area. I never knew what their beliefs were, I assumed they were something like Mormons, but they wanted to stay put where they were rather than keep looking for the promised land. However I looked into it and they are a very liberal minded sect from what I read, which to me is a big plus.

I do not know your background but having listened to half of this video I can see that you are a very sceptic person and maybe does not believe in the Bible. Prophecy has to be understood correctly. The book of Daniel, and the events that are mentioned pointing to the end times, are for the end times. They are foreshadows of what will happen at the time of their fulfillment. The same goes for the book of Revelation or the words of Jesus in Matthew 24. What Paul said about the coming of the Lawless one agrees with Daniel 8 and Revelation 17 for instance. Paul may have thought that Jesus was coming in his lifetime, however what he said about the end times agrees with the other two books as I said. As far as the Final Judgment, we have to understand that the Almighty is not unjust. He has not predetermined those who will be destroyed from those who will not, that is not the case and we can understand this by the words of Jesus concerning why the judgement will happen, and this is not because of someone being predetermined but because some have decided to live wickedly. There will be no everlasting suffering in some kind of fiery place, those who will be condemned they will be destroyed which is the only thing the Almighty can do after they have rejected the salvation offered in Jesus.

I just came across this idea in Islamic tradition, which in a hadith says no believer will be left behind at the time of end of times. I’m familiar with the story, and agree that the tablets were made in recent times relative to their discovery. However, in northern Illinois I’ve recently discovered; on three separate farms all within 3 miles of each other, Native American wood harvesting tools in mass. I’m certain that they were made/used around the turn of the 19th century, because there is glass tools associated. I wonder if those tablets were made by natives who became Christians after European contact, and buried them in the mounds before the two men found them? Was that avenue ever explored? Just a thought after finding what I’ve found here in N Illinos. Anyway, I’m going to finish watching now. I’ll check out your page too! Oh, just to put some context to what I have found.
