The Phillips screws are literally one of my biggest pet peeves of this system, by the time a tarp needs to be replaced they don't look anywhere near that nice and they don't come out nice either. After a few years they essentially have to be ground off and redrilled. There's a reason everyone else uses pop rivets.

These tarpping systems are not suitable for all loads and we cannot use them open, but it's easy to use.

I got this setup but it was built on a steel trailer and everything is rusty and vry hard to operate. also can use regular 4 inch flathook straps. no where to hook them to. again that's on the steel trailer I have

I quit driving for TMC flatbed because of manual tapping , they have some conestogas for a few accounts but the majority of their trailers are manual tarping , on a hot day or a snowy day it could take a few hours and totally stress me out because of that tarp so I quit , otherwise I would have stayed and they would still have me ( a quality driver ) working for them . I do dry van now and I'm never gonna fold tarps again , fuck that !!!

This looks like cheating in video editing. You can easily see that far left guy at first was on right corner while far right guy was pulling put the long pipe for folding back side of tarp. Then in next segment you see far left guy driving tarp system to the fromt while far right guy still pulling out pipe 😂 I dont get it, why is even important, 48sec or 2min, thats both super fast.
