I heard the Surfliner crews are (possibly) not fully trained to handle NPCU Cabbages. So, I don't know if the single-level cars will ever run or not.

Thanks. Sadly not anymore...or at least usually. Lately, the train has been doing a turn run...originates at City of Industry and terminates in Industry as well. I think on some days, it just works Los Nietos and then returns back to Industry. -Jon

Whenever there is a breakdown with one of the Surfliner sets on the weekends although it seems the chargers are finally doing okay so who knows when this spare set will be needed.
