The recipe you use for candy apples is different from all the others. Most of the videos out there are using the 4-1-1 formula, I saw one lady say 6-4-1 is much better and works better. Yours is 4-1-2, which is so different, I wonder why. Could you please explain the difference between yours and the other ones. I have been looking for a recipe that doesn't cost teeth, I know it's out there because I can bite through the ones from the fair, but I cannot from the ones I make at home. What are yours like?? I have a question about the gold coloring... You took edible gold dust and mix it with a bit of lemon extract, and I was wondering if you could taste the lemon on the apples? I know you said the dust has no taste, but the lemon, being an extract, does. Also, what color are those apples before you gold colored them? I couldn't really tell in the video, to me they looked an odd purple shade - and that can't be right... I was wondering if you colored the apples black or white, if that gold will pop more, or if the black or white would show through? Thanks 😊
