How can a person make music with such joyful effect with Californian sounds in the background, he must be real genius ! That's Brian Wilson. I'm so sad hat his late brothers and other guys of the Beach Boys weren't along with him to receive that honor.

Sieht so aus als ob Diana Brian durch diese tolle Show geführt hat. Einfach war es sicher nicht für ihn, seine Musik ist nicht reproduzierbar weil zu gut.

The Queen of Soul dropped that fur! There are only so many albums that encapsulate a period of time so perfectly, harmonically and (with one's eyes closed) so vividly. Of those Tapestry is in the top 3.

There are certain songs that, from that first note, you can't reach over and crank that radio to warp drive fast enough. Everything Stevie ever played was like that. I saw Stevie in concert twice, once before and once after he quit drugs. John Mayer is right, he did get even better. Nobody thought getting better was humanly possible yet there it was. That second concert, BB King was his warm up. I totally thought that was backwards and sacrilegious until I heard them play. I really miss Stevie. There is nothing like the sound of a cranked up strat in the hands of a guitar hero.

Wonderful! So happy for the boys to be inducted. Joan and the band did well but no one can match the DC5 sound, or the voice of Mike Smith!

I wonder why she never changed her hair style? Great voice, but I didn't care for the deadpan shtick on stage. To me, it ruined the exuberance that Louis had. People thought it was genius, but I didn't.

Man these guys are assholes. Not even mentioning Felder or Meisner and pretending that Schmidt had anything to do with the Eagles's legacy... I seriously doubt that they would have achieved the same success without Randy's vocals and Felder's guitar playing....Just shameful.

The KSH used to put out such meaningful tributes that were always so enjoyable. This one in particular was excellent, selecting tribute artists to show how the genius of Brian’s music transcended culturally and globally. I love that beautiful Diana Ross was in the same class as Brian and how she showed her passion for his music. Two musical icons!

Dave Clark deserves immense credit for propelling his band to the forefront leadership of the British Invasion of America! The Dave Clark Five and The Beatles were the 2 giant bands the led the British Invasion. The Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermit's, The Who, The Animals, Searchers, and so forth, all trailed the Beatles & The DC5. Also, there's a certain Mr Ryan who had legally relinquished his writing credits via a deal with Dave Clark. Ryan made the deal with Mr Clark. However it seems in the last few years that Ryan has endlessly complained, whined and cried to anyone and everyone that he is not credited with songs he purportedly wrote but are credited to Dave Clark. Mr Clark has the legal right to claim writing credits to the songs. Fans of the many Dave Clark Five fan groups throughout the internet are quite tired of hearing Mr Ryan's whining and crying over any deal he made with Mr Clark.
