This reminds me of Carson's death in Stargate Atlantis. You think it's going to be all right, he's walking away happy, the explosive is being put inside a steel container for disposal, then the bomb went off and vaporized him.

i dont really understand why people like or defend addison. personally i dont like her or derek. never grew to like them never really cared for them. they were both cheaters no matter the circumstances.

this is one of my favorite episodes because this was the first time in television that I saw myself in a character. it sounds weird but it was nice to see self-injury represented in a show and have it be a pretty accurate representation of what will happen. not just the physical act of it but also hiding what is used, first aid stuff, hiding fresh cuts/scars, being secretive about it and lying about it if someone sees.

I never hated Addison, I hated Derek. Sure she started all this by sleeping with Mark but she owned up to her actions. Derek was the one who left, pursued and started a romantic relationship with Meredith, an intern, never mentioned that he was married which is lying and then decided to stay with his wife when she comes to mend their marriage. But he defends his decision to stay with her that he can't ignore the years he had with Addison despite being in love with Meredith but still wants to have Meredith close, even getting upset when she tries to move on to the point of calling her a whore. Derek is toxic, egotistic, arrogant, narcissistic, SOB. I hate Derek. Addison owned up to what she did, Derek never did.

This song reminds me when I was 13, I was being bullied by other students as well as my teacher and principal I attempted suicide by overdosing on pills, I remember my mom asking me why I did it? as she drove me to the hospital I blacked out. My mom confronted them about the bullying but they denied everything and things kept escalating. This was 22 23 years ago but this song reminds me of that time.

Ellie was always my favorite as a kid because I cut before Degrassi at 7 and could understand her.... I've relapsed about five times since I turned 18 and gave it up at 16. But I'm glad people who deal with things like this were at least represented then and showed how to be helped and what they needed, while also being shown it's not right to treat yourself that way. I had an imaginary friend that was a dog named Ellie after this character. The last time I relapsed was four days ago. I'm 28. Feelings are valid at any age, and old habits die hard. You aren't immature or bad. You just have something you can't deal with alone and you're used to dealing with things alone. It's ok. I love you. I fucking love you. It'll be ok, I promise.

Derek is a despicable human being. He treated Meredith like crap and Addison begged, pleaded and did all she could to make up fro want she's done and still Derek wanted her to suffer. He's a narcissist.

Loved this scene so much hated Addison delusions about if she worked there long enough She would win Derek back She was an amazing doctor but she effed up deal with your decision and move on.
