Will be doing the DBBB 10/17-10/21/24 to enjoy the fall colors, is there a off road recovery service/tow truck that you like in case we break something on the jeep?
@trailhunterusa14 күн бұрын
@@rickhollman4040 hey Rick. Never thought about one of those. We always go with a group. I don’t know of anyone in the area, but I am sure there is. Also, that weekend, there is a big event there called Overland the Red. It will be highly unlikely you will not see others on the trails. If you have a good GMRS radio, you can scan and eventually connect with a group…just know where you are. There will be many groups of different levels of experience leaving out from Overland the Red. I would suggest attending the event and hooking up with a group there. Hope this helps!

Can you tell me how you installed the awning brackets to the roof rack? My question is, is there room between the tent and the rack to slide in the awning bracket?
@trailhunterusa15 күн бұрын
Hey Bill. Yes, there is room to put the bracket on the rack between the tent and rack. As a matter of fact you will have to do that with the system sent by Naturnest. I actually bolted the bracket to my rack. I've found with these tents and racks that sometimes you have to get creative because they all are not the same. Let me know if you need any further help. thanks!

what is the weight of the bumper? I am looking at this bumper or the LoD bumper. the LoD is an impressive 51 Lbs.
@trailhunterusa17 күн бұрын
Hey Brink. What LoD bumper you looking at? I looked up their rear bumper for the Bronco, and it says the weight is 100 lbs. Besides, I couldn't trust a bumper that only weighed 51 lbs. Not sure it could be made of steel and weigh that. I'm not sure what the weight of this Turn Offroad bumper is. Doesn't say on the website. I could find out for you if you wish. They have another rear bumper as well that could be lighter. It is made of tubular steel. This one is 3/16 and 1/4 inch steel. Let me know if I can help you more. And thanks for the comment.

Great video and looks like a good group! Just after 25:00 min mark, 13 Broncos exit the creek carefully avoiding the big rock at the edge of the water. Even the x-wide Raptor. Then comes the Trail Hunter and runs over that rock like a kid jumping in a forbidden puddle. Bet you thought no one would notice…

Two questions Please. What did he charge you for labor? And two… all you did was the perch collars to put on 37’s? What about your crash bars? Did you do a JKS kit?
@trailhunterusa22 күн бұрын
@@texasgrillchef8581 as far as labor they beat anybody around here. I take all my vehicles there. Not sure what the charge was. That was a couple years ago. I have upgraded the lift. I went with Zone Offroad 3.5” lift. I found the 2” wasn’t enough for aggressive off roading. Tore the inside liner in the fender wells out and had to replace. I still have not taken the crash bars off. They do run sometimes when aired down low and getting in certain situations, but just haven’t done it yet. Hope this helps
