just learning this end of it. ty 4 the info. looks like it could be a big part of the labor and manufacture. staging etc. shade variation is critical. pity the poor tender or yard man that has to go and dig into a full pallet to get a buried special part. im on the same page having been on the field end. my new job @61 is butting heads with that mind set. they are set in their ways after 30 years. I would want the masonry contractor to get every bid useing my product and shipping schedule.

I liked your video. I am myself an installer, and i caught something in your video that caught my attention. When you showed the example there was the split tail anchored to the wall with two screws in the wall. I’d assume that the wall was a concrete wall where the stone was going to be anchored, and if so why using two screws? The one on the bottom of the split tail is enough. Maybe using bolts for better hold?

straps hold the in and out. the load should be at the base of the stone. ive done some high rise exterior natural stone back in the mid 80s where the clips were welded and caulking was used in the curfs.
