I don't see a lot of people talking about this (I'm early into the video), but the biggest give away that they have a fetish is the addition of the weight numbers on all of their ocs. Unlike adding gender, sexuality, or height to a character's bio, adding a detail like incredibly high weight is a very specific and very concerning thing. You do bring up Baulder's Gate, which is a great point. There are definitely times when adding a weight is appropriate or necessary, like in DnD where weight plays into the game. But this is all clearly just content the artist is making for self fulfillment reasons. And considering they are a minor, this is all insanely concerning. This is more than just about wanting to protect the minor drawing this, its about protecting everyone involved. Art Fight does not allow this type of content because a lot of minors participate, and minors cannot consent to any of this. This is a way for them to get art without outright having to get people's consent. It's awful

I'm an artist that draws plus sized characters because I am plus sized in real life and unfortunately have had to deal with fat fetishists in my time. And, yeah, that art is 100% fetish art... :/ There's certain tell-tale signs such as the way the stomach and limbs (specifically thighs) are drawn n' the emphasis on weight and eating. IMO ban was 10000% deserved hope this person is in safe social circles because a minor should really not be in that kind of scene.

I think the ban was justified, but I'm not sure this kid should be getting as much hate as they are. They are only 15 after all, and although they have gone through questionable actions they are still growing and I don't think bullying them is going to help with that, not that the video bullies them, I'm more so referring to some of the comments in the thread. I think it is important to point out the reason they got banned was a mix of what happened on the website and server, artfight itself has no problem with fetish art as long as the person is an adult and everything is properly filtered, the problem the site has with fetish art is minors making it and fetish mining, which are both things this person did, as well as exposing other minors to fetish art in the artfight discord. That being said there is nothing wrong with having a fat fetish, but fetish stuff should only be engaged with between adults.

Hi! I appreciate your video and agree with the ban because the artist is a minor. Though I have some notes about a talking point you mentioned. While yes, some people out there really are like that, as a whole, it has categories, and like any other sexual activity, it requires full consent. So there's different categories, healthy feederism, cnc, there's gainers (self explanatory), maintainers (who reach a certain weight and maintain it through eating and exercise), and what you talked about, being death feederism (where one or both sides are into and go for wg ending in death, usually fictional, emphasis on usually), and there's also those who are into weight loss, they enjoy the idea of someone both eating too gain weight and exercising and eating healthy to lose it and get fit. The rest of the community, basically the majority aren't into it! It's usually spoilered, censored, has warnings on it, and is out of reach with regular searches, cuz as someone who is into this who has many friends into it as well, I definitely don't want myself or a potential partner to get hurt practicing it. I just really wanted to put this comment out there because you painted quite a dark picture and the reputation of the fetish is (very understandably) quite bad because of the shit some idiots who are into it will pull. It's a cool idea, but I would be nervous with somebody, doesn't have to be well known, knocked on my stream and wanted to join. I have a lot of medical issues and sometimes fall asleep on stream. *Sigh*, I don't know if I have narcolepsy or what is going on, but I feel better with my little 1 or 2 viewers while streaming and everyone else watching after I upload so they don't have to deal with my issues. Having used deviantart for the last 10 years for my art & subsequently having to block tags & content /constantly/ I can confidently say that while their images MIGHT have been innocuous in surface content the particular art style they have aligns exactly with the fetish crowd. It's the artistic choices with the folds & layering of the skin and where they prioritize the focal point on the characters. They absolutely consume a lot of fetish art and that's what they are referencing while learning to draw/ develop their own style.
