Hello, thank you for watching ☺️🙏 You need to book your hike in advance. Make sure you have all the equipment and hiking shoes. The trip up is on average 4 hours and 4 hours back. There is also an option to climb up and sleep over and watch the sunset from the summit. We left at about 10 am for the day climb but if you choose to stay over night, you are starting in the afternoon ☺️🙏 Hope you enjoy your adventure and have the best experience 😊🙏❤️ I truly love the mountain and often thinking back how wonderful that was 🥹🎉💯⛰️

@@christinenobles I guess. I had a slight opportunity to go to blue marlin. I am not really an inhibeted person to be so crass. I am easy going. I negated to go because I knew it was going to expensive, I was being offered a ride with a really cool guy. European executive. I knew that I was probably going to depend on someone else money. That someone was going to drink and drive. (happens) and that I was going to overspend. Blue marlin is expensive but it is cool. This place you visited is chill and the view is incredible.

If you go for 1 meal and 1 cocktail, you won't spend much at all. There is always a way to do things cheap. We spent there all day being super greedy 😭🤣. We don't spend any money all year long on ourselves so when we travel, we enjoy it ❣️😊🙏

@@christinenobles i was alone and staying in a hostel near vara del rey in ibiza town... and then I stayed at azul line hotel in san anotio... which was cool.. i still avoided amanta nassau and others.. they always seem to be like out of reach. But i did end up going to cotton beach club because they have a terrace to sit down and just order drinks. but it was far and I went there by bicycle lol

Thank you for sharing 😊🙏 I believe it is different now to what it was back then. The Azores were suffering in poverty and harsh conditions. Fishing was a main source of income and survival. The US was a golden pocket back then and so no wonder they wanted a better future. ☺️🙏 Highly recommended watching Netflix series "Turn of the tide" ❤️ Fun story about the Azores back in the day and about load of cocaine flooding the beaches of Sao Miguel. We had literally 0 training 😂😂😂 We have decided to climb 2 days before !!! I just couldn't resist 😹 watching Pico from Hotra !!! It was completely spontaneous 🥹🥹

Thank you lovely 😻 🌹 My best reccomendation is a 🛵 scooter. However not so comfortable in case of rain. Yes, there is a direct bus departing from Angra do Heroísmo - Praça Velha and arriving at Aeroporto das Lajes. Services depart twice daily, and operate Monday to Saturday. We didn't travel by bus so I am not sure about the public transport but google or chat GPT will surely help you with the map of the busses and trip planning. It's very hard to find a car or scooter at the Azores as they get booked out for the season and they get very expensive 🫰🫰🫰 Make sure if you want a scooter, you book in advance. Sometimes Airbnb hosts will rent you theirs. It's not an official way though Xx

Hello beautiful 😍❤️ We done absolutely no preparation. We didn't even have the right equipment or amount of water with us 😭😂 It was a completely spontaneous decision !!! After staying in Horta staring at Pico from our hotel room, I have decided that it was ment to be and that we are climbing up !!! 😭😂😂 Mike said that I was crazy but for me it was a destiny !!! I have seen there a lot of older couples !!! One man I adored was around 70 climbing to stay overnight camping !! It all depends on your fitness level and healthy knees. For some 20yo this might be harder than for you !!! 😂😂😂 We been through something in life and we are mentally strong 💕🙏 That was the main contribution to my success haha 😂😂😂 I live in Darwin Australia. It's as flat as it gets so I am right there with you. However I am a fitness competitor 😁😁 And I walk, sprint and lift heavy weights almost daily. Maybe long walks in the nature and gym stairs exercise will help you to level up before the climg !!! I believe in you !!! 💖💯 You can do this !!! 😍😍😍🎊🌹🌞
