Those are table counterbalance springs. All of your setting tables should have them. They help take strain off the table motor when the motor is working to raise the table back to home position. Same as how the "bazooka tube" on an A or A2 helps take the strain off the gearbox to raise the deck back to 0

Well, these people can always get other jobs either at a grocery store, doctor’s office, or even in the railroad industry (Union Pacific or BNSF for example) or any job they can get paid, so that they can save their money (as long as their taxes aren’t too dang high) to pay for these excursions. Unfortunately that would be easier said than done.

Our local alley uses gsx machines and twister pins, when your bowling by yourself and no one else is bowling the gsx is pretty clicky, bowl a hambone and you can clearly hear the 8 pins falling into the setting table 😁

I think the gsx works by the ball breaking a beam of light just in front of the sweep. I just asked to put my camera on the side next to the lane since I just so happened to get the farthest lane to the right when we bought our game.

@@videomaker133 I understand I was having a chat to my head tech since his been in the industry well over 40 years & I have work with him just going 15years on the gs98 I have work on gsx but what I gone thru is both GS and gsx are almost the same there are parts we can use in both machines the difference in both are double switches to single switches with the pinholders and when it comes to pin detection it's the detector plate & correct me if I'm wrong 70s don't have switches to allocate the pins scores only thru a camera switch sometimes need to calibrate due to off lighting gets the camera confused

I worked on GS98 & 70s I prefer gs98 they easy to work on aslong you keep up on maintenance the only thing I dislike about 98s is pins going thru the ball exit here and there

Don' t remember seeing any when I was there, mainly because I tend to pay more attention to the stuffed animal machines when I go to arcades. There is a smaller "Grab n' win" by ICE that they have which they fill with toys, and there may be a Bling King with some watches or other 'expensive' prizes. Dave and busters isn't an arcade that puts consoles or other expensive hardware directly in machines.
