Oh my goodness, I am so grateful I found your channel! Your connection to art/the ocean/the unknown resonates in me as well, and I’ve only JUST started fully leaning into it by learning ocean wave art. My failed attempts had me feeling frustrated and mad at myself (“why can’t you just freaking GET IT already”), so I went in search of a tutorial and found YOUR wave tutorial. Your art makes me gasp out loud, and it has reignited my excitement to keep going and keep practicing. I know in time I’ll find my own ocean art “voice,” but know you’ll be who inspired me in the first place! Thank you for putting yourself out there!! Your peace and joy are evident 🥰

So an additive isn't needed to get lacing/cells? I watched a number of videos years ago that spoke about an additive we needed so I'm genuinely curious. I've also seen like plastic 3d things that people have used in their ocean resin projects and as a coastal girl, I was like, um...no. Because it looks so fake.

They all came out beautifully. Is there a part 2 on how you added the ocean blue to each one?
@susanboeru166723 күн бұрын
Wow, you are beautiful such as your work. I have seen countless tutorials on how to make the ocean waves and your work seems to be the only one that makes sense. I can't wait to give it a try and hope it turns out half as beautiful as yours. Wish me luck.

I have been trying more than dozen times and I do not get the waves the same way you do. My white (waves) colour just stays and it doesn’t moves up like a wave …all it does is like a small “puddle “ . I followed every step you said and still struggling with the waves. What wrong with me ? Where I’m doing Wrong ? Is that the cheap resin and pigments I’m using.?

How do you paint the water so it looks like that? Is this for sale? It’s lovely.
@RivkaWilkinsArt2 ай бұрын
Awe, thank you! Honestly I don’t even know. I keep trying different patterns l, strokes and brushes until something gives me the look I want. The foreground is a bit easier since I’m just blocking out the shadows of the waves. It is actually for sale and up in my shop. Rivkawilkinsart.com
