Wow! As a huge Alien head from the beginning, I always wondered who Neal was after that KTC board came out. This video blew my mind!!

Please forgive me if I am wrong, but all of the content on this channel appears to be taken from Bobby’s channel: “same old”. That is some bullshit right there if true. ALSO, you have a PayPal too, with Bobby’s channel name and yours merged together! I don’t see that account linked anywhere on the same old insta, KZfaq, etc! Something is seriously wrong here.

Thanks for documenting the genesis of progressive modern street skating! This is the type of content where my head is at, so that is why it was suggested for me to watch. As an 52 year old skater, I too witnessed the legend of Gonz J lee and Ed templeton back in 86 here in orange county. And I even saw Felix with Billy waldman skate at SDSU for a skate camp, all back in the 80's. Hoffman is a dinosaur by now! Now you need to get addidas to sponser your films. So reach out to the Gonz Bobby!

Bobby’s love, passion and admiration for skateboarding is beautiful. I could listen to him talk skate all day. That Harlem banks spot was so sick! Probably a lot harder to skate than it looks but it’s incredible that it was a street spot.

Loved this, Theres a large beige rail in front on a brick building in my town that also gets boardslided by mark about a minute or two later in video dayz.

I love how Bobby is so intrigued by every little bit of skate history in front of him. This shit is the best most wholesome content.

I’m surprised he didn’t stop by where the steep bank was, that I think Templeton and MJ also skated. it was just down the street of the hell curb.

This is beyond incredible. What a cool guy... Bobby was literally shaking. I can't think of anyone in skateboarding who would appreciate this more than him. Truly, one of our most cherished 80's skateboarding historians. This is just too cool.

I went to hell curb about a rear or two ago.... it’s not knobbed so why isn’t it waxed? Wish I could have slid it
@cactuscoolest45642 жыл бұрын
Believe me, it’s SO chunky it’s really only slideable on the up and down slopes with a good amount of wax and deck rails. It must have been slightly smoother back in the day. I managed to boardslide for maybe a foot or two across the top section and then slide down the end slope. It’s still fun!
@cactuscoolest45642 жыл бұрын
It’s so funny too because when I first found the spot I had no clue gonz skated it, I just thought I found a weird tall curb ledge haha
