Not really. Most don’t suffer. In most modern countries, there’s laws that prevent suffering and abuse & is cracked down in heavily. Sure, once in a while, cases pops up, but that is extremely small compared to the total farmers. Just recently last year, A horse farm known as Viegård stutteri in Northern Jutland, denmark got charged for 35 charges of breaking the animal welfare law, such as under feeding, burying dead animals on the property without a proper permission from the government & much more. The case is still ongoing. Thank god it’s rare that people abuse animals, make them suffer, etc. So when i say that it’s cracked down on heavily, i mean it.
