(like not the Skill - more like if there is enough headwind for a Reverse launch) I am thinking about doing Briefings for all my Launchsites I regularly visit, with Description of Weather Check, Specialities and so on - as KZfaq Videos - do you reckon this would be a good Idea?

Scharf beobachtet! :-) Hänge ich eigentlich immer ein aber der Linke hängt sich immer von selber aus. Meistens behebe ich das aber kurz nach dem Start. Im späteren Teil des Fluges habe ich den Beschleuniger benutzt -> Da hab ichs also auch behoben. Passiert so bei jedem 5. Flug dass sich der Beschleuniger aushängt, immer der Linke - stört mich aber nicht ausreichend damit ich was dagegen mache - kanns problemlos beheben wenn ich mal kurz etwas ruhige Luft hab. Bei meinen Morgenflügen hingegen, habe ich ein Gurtzeug ohne Beschleuniger vorrichtung (easyness 1) - aber froh morgens braucht man in der Regel keinen Beschleuniger :-P

Ja das hätte es wenn ich mir getraut hätte, auf der anderen seite - gibts bessere Tage als solche wo diverse leute grobe Klapper einfangen und die Wolkendecke sich schliesst usw. :-)

Hallo Peter, Tom war mit einem Epsilon 9 Grösse 31 unterwegs und ich mit dem Alpha 6 Grösse 28. Um die Zeit an dem wir diesen Flug durchgeführt haben (ca. 11 Uhr am Morgen) kommt man im normalfall locker von der Breitlauenen auf die Höhenmatte. Anfangs hatte ich immer etwas Bammel ob es mir nach Inti reicht aber ich bin nun ca. 50 Mal von der Breitlauenen geflogen und teilweise mit 35Km/h Talwind auf der Höhenmatte und bin noch immer auf die Höhenmatte gekommen. Klar wenns 35km/h Wind gibt dann kann man meistens etwas aufsoaren an der Breitlauenen, der Vergleich hinkt also aber was ich sagen will: Man macht sich viel zu viele Sorgen ob mans auf die Höhenmatte schafft. Laut Hikeandfly.org reicht eine Gleitzahl von 4.5. Wenn du bedenkst dass der Talwind meist nur bis 500m AGL wirkt - und du auf 1600m Startest - solange du nicht zu viel höhe an der Breitlauenen verschenkst ist es Problemlos. Also wenn dus mal ausprobieren willst, mach dir keinen Stress! :-) Besser als um 11 Uhr starten ist aber 16:45 aufs letzte Bähndli und dann einen Abendflug :-)

This was a minor slip up but motivates me to work on my Landings. (it was literally a slip up on wet grass) But yeah - Paragliding has a lot to do with beeing sharp and keeping focus over a long time!

We have to check the weather forecast and make sure the wind is fit for landing. If we are in Thermal conditions and we see a lot of valley wind we land on top of some hill instead in the valley. and so on and so on. And its no biggie to meet up with a lot of Wings in the air there are rules on how to behave!

No they are completely unattached.... Jokes aside: yes they are connected with a lot of vers strong velcro! :-)

This was during one of my Morning flights, for those i wake up at 5 drive up halfway the hill, then walk for 45minutes + preparation for launch. So this should be around 06:30 AM
