is it worth moving there from Germany? I want to leave europe and considered Egypt but this is the newly built city full of rich people. It feels fake just like dubai with difference that dubai is really rich and a famous spot unlike new cairo...to live in an area like that means you came to make business and i dont think egypt is a good place to make business. The economy is crumbling day by day on the other hand the old cairo is so dirty... i don't get how the arabs and muslims can be so dirty since islam teaches purity. everywhere you go in cairo is full of trash and bad smell.
