Fun fact: The 3/4 part starting around 1:56 (originally played on piano) was put in there by Oldfield to convey the feeling of a beating heart, sort of a slow "pulse". Well played, sir! 👏

The feeling of this piece reminds me of this version of Stravinsky's Firebird suite played by many of the jazz stars of the 70's ... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbKDdrSavJmnoZs.html

This sounds really amazing! I would like to ask what effects do you use to achieve this sound? I am also a cellist. I also have an electric cello at home and I would like to use different effects in the future to achieve such great sounds.

I was raised Mormon, knew nothing of music and culture or anything out of my bubble. One day had to be 10th grade, class mates were crying over Kurt's death. It was so strange to me that they could be that sad over someone they didn't know. So I wanted to learn more about this Nirvana and Kurt Cobain guy, snuck down stairs turned on MTV volume low to not wake dad and seen 120 minutes and head bangers ball. I was blown out of my skull I heard, Bad Religion, Rollins Band, Sucidal Tendencies, GWAR, 3 11, Jane's Addiction, Green Day and Green Jelly. One of the most defining moments of my life, music of this time changed me as a person for the better.

This is Nirvana's best track. It about lust and the draw to the women and rage that as a man you know she manipulating you with it but you still can't resist.
