Hi Deep, In this case it would be bit difficult because your bachelor studies would be completely in a different area. Nevertheless, you will have a fair chance provided you have skills to become Automotive Engineer before you apply for admission along with impeccable resume and SOP (Statement of Purpose). So, my reason for masters would be, becoming more responsible and start working on building new skills. Fluent German language is required in most jobs in Germany. The German language is one of the toughest learning language. Better to go to other countries with less language barriers.

Hi Nuukizmir, Partly agree with you. There are good language requirements for mechanical background related core jobs, especially if someone is going for a Job at medium or small companies. In good number of cases, SW jobs don't impose a strict restriction since English would be sufficient. Thanks for mentioning the good point.

@@Graphicrafters sure bro, I know number of friends who studied in Netherlands and came to Germany for Jobs, and vice versa. You can go and work in any of the 27 EU countries after finishing your studies if you can land yourself in a Job there. It's your situation and decision at the end of the day. You will have a lot of flexibility.

Hi Akshay, It's not easy and straightforward to get admission into a specialization which was not the focus of your bachelors degree, because German university admission process is strict compared to other countries. In Germany, education is public funded and you pay little to nothing during your maters. Having said that you can increase your chances of getting admission by presenting relevant work experience, skills, certifications and projects.
