Nothing like with Barbara Weathers but they did an awesome job. The lead male didn't overdo it and has a really nice voice, very smooth.

I was band leader and musical director for James Brown (31 years) We were playing the Budweiser summer jams in Atlanta in the late 1980’s Three Days and several other groups. We closed (Traditionally the headliner closes the show) and among the lineup was Atlantic Star! Chastain park was the venue and we had just arrived from Europe the day before. Thankfully all of our equipment arrived in one piece and nothing was missing. While they were unpacking the truck I was just hanging out backstage and I met the female singer for Atlantic Starr. What an absolutely living doll she was! They were red hot and she was delightful! I gave her a little bit of brotherly advice about this business and how shady it is but just to enjoy every minute of it while you have the momentum and make a lot of memories and make a lot of new friends. In the end you probably won’t have much money because of all the corruption and all of the thieves wearing suits but they can never take away your fame, I will never forget her because she was drinking a vanilla Coke! I think that was the first day Coca-Cola released vanilla Coke and cherry Coke. I don’t know what happened to her over the years but she made her mark in history. There are only three of us left from the James Brown stage employees and musicians, Time marches on!

Tears in my eyes. It was 30 plus years ago. I met her in Toronto and we were always listening to this song together. So sad that we couldn't work out and go make a family but have tons of good memories for me to cherish. I want to dedicate this song to her again.

Wow、this is exactly what I saw and heard when they played at Billboard Live Tokyo. I still vividly remember that because I was deeply moved with the words at the beginning. It really touched my heart and soul. Wanna go see them again.

Música linda. Pena que o tecladista quis aparecer mais que os cantores e acabou estragando. Acho que ele deveria um pedido de desculpas aos cantores, pois esta música é perfeita.

You are so right. That song is so perfect. Incredible. Like they tapped into something that already existed in nature and they created something based on natural perfection.
