This was a true pleasure. I made an album of it (digital) for my collection. As much as I enjoyed the horrible harmonies when Jason was a DBT, in his drunken stupor, going a new direction for Jason isbell was a good move. I'll go ahead and say it. The Bob Dylan of this age, is Jason . Different times, but inspirational.

The place he was then, and where he is now... This is one of my favorite songs by a master craftsman. It resonates on so many levels of lonely but you feel the ray of sunshine that pulled him out into daylight. This world needed Jason to write more songs.
