@@JacobNintendoNerd99 my only gripe with the Layton game is Phoenix's VA. It must've come out in between replacing Ben Judd with Sam Riegel, and it just doesn't sound right to me. But the story and music? MMPH, it's such a good OST

I've seen some of the names of the characters, and how they're different from the fan translation (which I expected) but I assume the story and dialogue won't be too different from what fans expect

It's worse than that. Even if the pokemon is shiny, you get another full odds roll either when you catch it or purify it (I forget which)

It's like that in Pokemon Colosseum! This is a rom hack of Pokemon XD, so the shiny odds and way they work are a bit different. But that Kirlia is apparently always meant to be an uncatchable shiny 😔
