Hmm...yeah; gimme a Gibson C/A Tennessean any day. Don't need a Bigsby, and the nickel hardware doesn't wear off like the gold hardware does on the Country Gent model.

I loved my '74 Custom, but never compared it to a Standard of that year. I would love to get it back. It was the best LP I've ever had. Nice chops on this video, BTW

Centerblock. I have a black one just like this. They're sweet. You can kind of get in between a LP and a 335 in terms of tone!

This is THE model and year- 2nd only to late 50s/ early sixties. I prefer it to the customs of the same year, and ANY Les Paul since.
