Jimi appeared to have used one in his first recorded usage of a wah, though it sounds like it was strung up as a 6 string in C#.

Hmm...yeah; gimme a Gibson C/A Tennessean any day. Don't need a Bigsby, and the nickel hardware doesn't wear off like the gold hardware does on the Country Gent model.

Back in the '80's,I bought one from a music store in Rochester NY for $425.00! There is one on eBay now for $5,400.00. Should have held on to it!

I loved my '74 Custom, but never compared it to a Standard of that year. I would love to get it back. It was the best LP I've ever had. Nice chops on this video, BTW

sounds great, don't get me wrong. but is it me or is it far less recognisable as a duel stringy thing(noideawhatthetermis) than its acoustic versions?
