Ok so I havent had any bisexual leanings till about a year ago when I kissed a girl on Molly and stated questioning it. I thought we had some connection that was beyond friends and couldnt stop thinking about it for weeks and so confused. Again a couple weeks ago I experienced the same thing totaly soberly I made a connection with a girl but the feelings werent that sexual more so that sort of connection thinking I wouldnt mind kissing her/holding her. But this could also be me suppressing my desire. I think maybe this makes me pansexual though because Im perdomenantly attracted to men but when I have that strong connection some romantic feelings arise? Any thoughts? Im 23 and kinda confused

I’m still questioning but to me gender just feels like an act or a game that everyone puts on for no reason. I don’t care what pronouns people use for me, I prefer to look neutral or androgynous, and I don’t get why everyone cares so much. That’s what makes me think I could be agender. Being non binary reinforces gender stereotypes imo. you can be a woman who doesn't relate to femininity (eg not into dresses or makeup or not fitting in with other woman) and this doesn't make yku less of a woman. you can be a man and love makeup and traditionally female things, doesn't make u less of a man! Im only a teen, and it's really hard for me since i wanna have long hair and she/her pronouns but want a musular body and wanna be a male, and it's so confusing for me

As I know I'm nonbinary for a week or to I visited a queer youth group and a person there said to me 'Oh but your name isn't neutral. Your pronouns aren't neutral and you don't look neutral so you can't be nonbinary.' That really hit me hard and make me rethink if my name was the right choice... 2 years later I use the same name and I'm happy with beeing nonbinary. Never tell someone they aren't neutral enough so they can't be nonbinary...

I can’t lie to the people I love, lying is wrong, even if they’d be ‘happier’ if I just went along My sister has been saying she’s non-binary for almost a year, the change was very sudden, and coincidentally her mental health has plummeted now and she does bad in school. Self-image can greatly impact your self-esteem, she is running away so she might feel ugly and that puts her in a bad headspace. I don’t use the name she chose because nobody can choose what they are and it’s better to grow up and learn to love yourself than it is to put up a new face whenever you feel uncomfortable in your own skin. You’ll never be at peace living in a constant performance of gender. She has to be brave and accept she’s just becoming an adult, I know she’ll be fine.
