I have followed every step but when I try to import the joined one into sims 4 studio, it gives me a super long error message. I have not been able to import anything into sims 4 studio as it always gives me this message :( any idea what the problem might be?

I have zero knowledge of blender 😭

tested it in game and even though the model worked, the texture didn't, and i bet the texture turned into some question mark. I hate sims 4 modding.

my baked texture comes out just white with no shadows :(

I made my file on blender 3.6 something or other, so I spent a whole day trying to get it into 2.70. Basically what I did was export my model in the 3.6 blender as an obj then click file import, then it was magically there. I kept clicking append and open, but I guess that's not how 2.70 works 😅

How do u get ur camera so close up, ive looked it it says ctrl and arrow up key but it dont get that close up

Hello!! Thank you sm did this video it helped me a ton! I just have one issue with joining meshes. After I got everything done according to the video, my object in the game has weird shadows around it that originally came from the base game object mesh. Is there anyway I can fix this? This is literally the most helpful vid ive stumbled across 😭 setting the vid to 0.25 speed and looking at each thing you clicked and writing how and why you did each step and just learning from this was so helpful.

I wonder if you can import the mesh into procreate and add a texture there, then transfer it back to the pc... ill try this out and edit the comment once ive figured it out. Edit: THIS WORKS. I created a smart UV map and exported as obj, sent it to my google drive and imported it into procreate. The object came out perfect and painting it is a breeze, just dont use the reference option in canvas settings, that broke my canvas and made the background black. Have fun

Another tip for beginners, if you want to add placement slots onto your mesh if youre making a shelf or table etc id reccomend "How to ADD MORE SLOTS to Objects in THE SIMS 4? | Easy & Simple CC Tutorial for Beginners" by simsina on youtube

This just made me realize that Omegle has not changed and is Toxic AF still.

I know this is 3 years old but I am just learning blender and procreate and nomad sculpt. It actually helps the super long - moving slowly showing us exactly where, what it's called, and why in simple terms. I know 2 hours is scary but if that is how long it takes that is how long it takes. haha trust me - I have ADHD and this is something I really want to commit to but it's scary because I don't read well and seeing it and doing it with you step by step helps.
