Nice home any flat footprint to fit a 40 x60 garage, and where is that septic, I figure they put that near fire pit, cause only flat ground I can see needs a plat I know lots there fall off quick, hard to get everything I need. how many acres? beautiful home, great place to have a cigar and hide from the wife

So it's not a quick drive to the store from there ? Like when you run out of toilet paper or need more beer ?

It IS an amazingly beautiful property, for sure. $10.5?? Yeah, that’s what it was listed for - but it sold for quite a bit *LESS* than that. With realtors inflating prices just in simple showcase videos for sold properties it’s seriously no wonder why Asheville area real estate prices are getting so laughably, astronomically, stupidly expensive. Realtors be thinking they’re in LA, NYC or Miami or something.

LOL You'd think for $2 Mil they could've thrown in some landscaping out front! 😂😂 Or maybe put in a driveway out front so your guests don't have to enter through the back door. I do love, LOVE, *LOVE* that front door!! They did a phenomenal job blending the new addition onto the rear of the home. Great remodel overall, I just wish they would've extended the front porch over some to the left of the front door - maybe even done that section as a covered porch since the home has such great views of the Grove Park.

I've never understood why people lay the wood grains in different directions moving from one room to another the way they've done it... *IN A FIVE MILLION DOLLAR HOME!!!* I've seen numerous remodels in Asheville where they've done this. Like the kitchen floors lay one direction and the adjoining dining room goes in another. One house (at just shy of $1 Million) has the wood going in two different directions in the primary bedroom! I don't get it. Every "floor guy" I've ever talked to has stressed the importance of the grain all being laid in the same way. To each their own, I suppose, but with the wonky floors and no pool or amenities $5 mil seems quite high!

It's on the market for a long time for a good reason. Great location, but the interior design is way too special.

The Folly is pretty cool but god almighty is the main house gaudy. It's like the only two design cues they offered the decorators and designers were Native American and ANTLERS.

Multi million $$ house on 5 acres is a joke. House like that should be on 644 acres/ mile square. Rich city people trying to show off.

This place is awesome. For the people who are saying that it's too much to clean you're forgetting that of someone has the money to purchase this property they'll have money to hire professional services for that. If your taste is more "modern " or open then you'd probably not look at this place to begin with.

Is this 7 Stuyvesant? I so love, LOVE, *LOVE* that house!! Big, old, grand houses are my jam! Reminds me of the houses my grandparents owned - one of which is in the same neighborhood as this one.

Ahhh I was going to guess 25 million... almost 30 million.. I was way off.... so about .02 percent of this country can afford that place.. good luck selling that at 7% interest rates in that location?

This house was clearly built by a Lannister. With all them dead stags all over the walls. Am I the only one that thinks it creepy to have stuffed dead animals all over the house and walls? Animal serial killer house.
