It really is turning into a cool truck! Before the panels were installed on the top, I was really liking the look of the black accessories (doors, windows, trims) against the white of the truck. It was looking pretty dapper. Now with the roof parts installed it's so cool!

Buc-ees does not allow truckers. You’ll see a huge (I think) Luvs truck stop across the street at the Adairsville, GA Buc-ees and it’s jammed with trucks!

Love watching this progress. I went back and looked, we haven't seen the gray tank yet so I'm looking forward to how you do that. I also looked at the Texas trip hoping for a difference in the noise level but there wasn't any talking while driving footage. It does sound decent in this vid, though. What I did find was your "Adventure in a Box" comment. I think that should be the name of the truck and you could paint it on the back. 😎

I believe I’d use glue as well. Makes a lot of sense instead of putting holes into the floor. You’re doing an excellent job on your build!! Top A1!😊

I just love these videos. You give such detailed information on how it's done with the little side bars. You missed your calling, Sir. You should have been a teacher. But did you know that at a lot of Virginia high schools, they have night classes for adults and would probably love to have you on staff teaching a carpentry/all around DIY class. I always learn new things watching you. ❤❤❤

Yes, I have been a teacher all my life - in character, not in vocation. I love to teach! In my younger days I taught friends how to technical rock climb and fly a hang glider. I taught lessons on trombone (professionally) for a few years. I love to preach and teach the Bible. I love public speaking. I am a trainer for Thrive Life conventions, etc, etc. But taking on teaching at a high school, especially at age 67, just sounds like a J.O.B! I have no interest in that. I would prefer to just keep teaching on You Tube, at church, and at Thrive Life conventions, because I can do that IF and WHEN I want to without a commitment to the "daily grind." 😊

I use gardener kneeing pads from Dollar Tree. I have a whole bunch. For a $1.25 can't beat that for kneedling pads to protect your precious knees. I even carry one in the truck for emergencies.

Why did you chose sheep wool for insulation over stryrofoam which a lot of builders use?

Havelock wool is superior to Styrofoam in several ways. First and foremost, it is much better at providing additional soundproofing. Styrofoam has no sound deadening properties at all. Also, since it's all natural, there is no off-gassing of chemicals like you would get from Styrofoam or fiberglass.
