Loved watching the restoration especially the chemical solution just to get cold soapy water lol and that is not how you sand wood that's being restored you go with the grain so as not to leave scratches and for restoration you use all that is there no replacing unless it's total necessary and never use vegetable oil as a finish as it goes rancid eventually but it was nicley out back together congratulations

that baking soda, coke, and vinegar solution is just essentially sugar water. What makes baking soda clean well is it's alkaline ph and grit. As soon as you add the vinegar it's acidic ph neutralizes the baking soda and because it's a liquid dissolves the grit. It makes both vinegar and baking soda not work anymore. You'd have been better off with wood soap. Of course it got it somewhat clean but get it wet with anything and scrub with steel wool and wipe off with a clean cloth and it would clean it.
