@@pigeonramier6898 Oh I wouldn’t doubt it. At the time I wasn’t sure what my goals were with the Pacer and the MC-8 just seemed more viable. The Pacer itself is a rugged, easy to use pedal. In fact, I do miss the actual button size and light color customization that the Pacer has.

I can certainly give it a try. :) Have you checked to make sure all your MIDI input/output settings are correct on the Akai and the Aeros? The very first time I tried, I had the software output settings incorrect on the Akai Force so it stumped me for a second. :) Let me know if you've gotten it figured out. Keep rocking!

@@ladytechster I am still stumped! I have MIDI Send to “MIDI clock” I’m not sure what else there is. Someone told me I need to create a MIDI track which I did but I don’t know what that is supposed to do. It seems like I’ve tried every combination of options possible

Thank you! 🤘🏽🤘🏽The Force works fine for looping or creating samples, but I’m just used to using a foot pedal for looping in my workflow. It allows me to be more spontaneous during live loops. 😁😁

I’m not sure how Roland loopers work, but the Aeros does have have quantize to measure options with various time counts or BPMs Additionally, if you are in non-quantize/freeform mode, you can set how you’d like your loops to start (at beginning of loop or immediately) to ensure they stay on track. 🤘🏽😁🤘🏽

As far as preference between the BeatBuddy and the Force: it really just depends on my mood. I find that for just jamming without prep the BeatBuddy wins. The Force takes just a bit more planning (finding samples or a kit, then choosing your BPM) while figuring out where you’re trying to go/what vibe you’re trying to get. But, it’s way more versatile. I really enjoy the Aeros and they are set to release midi control soon, so I’m stoked for that. I do wish that the Force had more midi control via pedals but it’s still an awesome tool. The wah is a Dunlop MC404 CAE Wah. I’m a fiend for versatility and that wah nails it lol 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

I also have an mpc live and I’m very happy to see that other drum machines can work with the aeros because I prefer thise sounds over the beat buddy. You are super talented. Please keep sharing!!
