It hasn't been in the Haven family since 1906, John Fletcher Dodd opened it in 1906 and it was with his family until the mid 1950s

This was a lovely video. There's something quite wonderful about 'splashing about on the river'. Makes a holiday in Norfolk VERY tempting.

The only way to appreciate the Broads is by boat. There are so few footpaths it is (unlike the Lake District for example) almost impossible to appreciate them on foot. If you plan for them to be part of some walking trip, my advice is do not bother.

Hello. I'm coming later in the year. It's my first time. I haven't been on a parkdean holiday in a long time. I generally do Haven. I just come back from a holiday. I like to know the difference. Is this a quite place?

@Norfolk_Traveler oh yes, sorry. I thought I said Cherry Tree. I am interested to know what the acrade is like, like prizes and if you know anything of shows, like for children. My daughter will be 3 years old. She only knows the Haven crew. I was told years back that if you're on a parkdean holiday, you can visit another one in the area to see how it feels to try that out for another holiday.

@loobysworld hi cherry tree is a calm quite place relaxing place. There are things for the children to do .arcade wise there are some but not to many. It's a place for relaxing. And about 10 to 15 mins drive to the beach .hope this has helped you .
